My name is Melissa Thomas, and pottery is something I always wanted to learn. Back in high school, I was all about Theater classes, so art never made it onto my schedule. Then I retired during Covid and suddenly had time on my hands and a hobby-shaped hole to fill, so I signed up for a pottery class. I figured it would be a fun way to pass 12 weeks. Instead, it turned into a genuine passion, and somewhere along the way, I discovered I was actually good at it.

Every piece I make is meant to bring a little joy and whimsy into your life. I work primarily with hand building and slab techniques, so no two pieces ever come out exactly alike. My hope is that each one earns a smile.
